About The Position
The Tenancy and Community Inclusion Manager will serve as manager for Mecklenburg Community Inclusion for Alliance TCL (Transition to Community Living), Mecklenburg County SPC (Shelter Plus Care) , Tenancy Peer Support Specialist for SPC and Community Inclusion in Orange, Durham, Warren, Wilson, Edgecomb, Halifax and Edgecomb counties. This position will oversee programs; hire, lead, and supervise team members; build and maintain relationships with MCO and County staff, Providers, and Community Partners. This position will serve as a member of the management team of PRN and report directly to the Chief Programs Officer.

What You’ll Do
- Supervise Community Inclusion and Shelter Plus Care program teams. Develop team, support growth, and maintain elevated levels of team performance throughout North Carolina.
- Oversee and approve time reporting and expenses for the team.
- Provide education and information about housing, services, support, and opportunities to promote community Inclusion.
- Develop, monitor, maintain, and advise program budgets.
- Supervise referral coordination, specialist assignment, and progress of all referrals.
- Audit community visits and ensure peer satisfaction and community connections.
- Build and maintain relationships with providers and other peer support to ensure person centered care.
- Attend monthly reporting meetings with MCO and County to report on all aspects of peer contacts and ensure program communication and success.
- Assure program contract requirements are fulfilled by teams.
- Collaborate with other managers for regular connection opportunities at HUB and other activities offered to all peers.
- Participate in managers’ meetings and report on any program updates or needs.
- Continually seek and provide training opportunities for the team as well as themselves for Community Inclusion and Tenancy Support excellence and continued growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist or eligible to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist.
- Belief in the recovery potential of all people and is committed to the philosophy of peer support by reinforcing their ability to work and/or achieve personal goals.
- Ability to receive guidance, training, and mentoring to grow skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrates leadership by modeling PRN’s mission, values, philosophy, and guidance to team members.
- Demonstrates taking personal responsibility, being dependable, dependable, working as a team player, and utilizing personal determination skills.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, ethical and approachable.
- Ability to interact effectively with the public, providers, and other stakeholders.
- Committed to personal recovery and wellness and has a personal history of recovery and lived experiences in seeking and receiving crisis-based support.
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation.
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, ethical, and approachable.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) using active and reflective listening, asking curious questions, validating others’ experiences, remaining non-judgmental, and demonstrating effective conflict resolution skills.
- Must have a valid NC Driver’s license.
- If applicable, you must provide proof of car insurance.
- Travel throughout the state of NC.
