Peer Respite
Leadership Retreat

November 17, 2023

This retreat is a great opportunity for people to get together and work on developing national peer respite standards and a vehicle (peer respite association) to give them credibility and strengthen our collective voice as the people doing the work. It will be one of the first ever opportunities for people deeply invested in and involved with peer respites to gather, network, and develop the materials and relationships we need to keep moving peer respite forward while protecting fidelity to the model.

Sparked by recent incidences of funders who are trying to make these decisions for us, it is essential we find a way to work together to be recognized as the national leaders we already are!

PLEASE NOTE:
This retreat is planned, led, and made possible by a group of national leaders and not one organization, state or region.

The Peer Respite Planning Committee is comprised of:

Please email Alea McLean at amclean@promiseresourcenetwork.org if you would like to attend but won’t be able to join us without financial support for your travel.
