About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and skilled janitor with handy-person experience to join our facilities team. The Facilities Specialist role combines general cleaning duties with basic maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our building remains clean, safe, and fully operational.

What You’ll Do
- Perform daily cleaning of floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and restock supplies.
- Conduct minor repairs such as patching walls, fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and adjusting doors or furniture.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture for events or meetings.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain cleaning and maintenance equipment and inventory.
- Respond to urgent cleaning or repair requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in janitorial work and basic handy-person tasks.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid NC Driver’s license or ability to legally operate the company vehicle.
