About The Position

The Marketing Specialist will lead marketing strategies that promote PRN’s mission and engage our diverse community. The position also oversee digital marketing, content creation, brand management, and public relations to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all channels.

What You’ll Do

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and manage social media strategies for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to increase engagement and visibility.
  • Build and execute email marketing campaigns ensuring consistent communication with audiences and tracking engagement metrics (open rates, click-through rates).
  • Utilize digital advertising tools (e.g., Meta Ads for Facebook and Instagram) to optimize campaigns and reach target audiences.

Public Relations and Communications

  • Write and distribute press releases and media materials to promote key events, achievements, and organizational updates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure positive coverage.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar to guide marketing activities and campaigns.

Brand Management

  • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with the organization’s brand identity, voice, and messaging.
  • Increase brand awareness through consistent, strategic messaging across all channels.
  • Design new logos and branding materials for programs as needed.

Content Creation and Promotion

  • Create compelling content for various channels, including the website, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
  • Design and select event-related materials (e.g., flyers, swag items) to support marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with influencers, partners, and affiliates to expand reach and visibility.

Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing plan aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts support overall objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for successful delivery of marketing projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing marketing strategies and campaigns, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with non-profit programs highly desired.
  • Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SEO, website management, and social media best practices.
