What is Kaleidoscope?

Did you know a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope? 🦋 

Just like in peer support, when people come together, something powerful happens. New perspectives emerge. Stories are shared. Healing deepens. 

Kaleidoscope is our donor community for people who believe connection changes outcomes and for those who want to help ensure that no one has to navigate crisis alone. 

Why Kaleidoscope Matters

Today, many people facing mental health challenges, substance use, homelessness, reentry after incarceration, or other challenges are struggling to access support. Systems are stretched thin. Resources are fragmented. Too many people fall through the cracks. 

At Promise Resource Network, we exist to fill those gaps. Through peer support, we walk alongside people in their most difficult moments while offering connection, community, and pathways toward stability and recovery. 

That work is only possible because of committed supporters like you. 

What It Means to Join Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope members are donors who provide consistent, reliable support for PRN’s work. 

By giving monthly or annually, you help ensure we can: 

  • Respond in real time to people in crisis 
  • Provide peer-led programs and safe spaces 
  • Expand access to community‑based support 
  • Show up where traditional systems cannot 

Member Experience

As part of Kaleidoscope, you’ll be invited into a deeper connection with PRN’s work through exclusive virtual gatherings with our Founder & CEO, Cherene Caraco. 

These small-group conversations offer: 

  • Insight into PRN’s vision and evolving priorities
  • Honest discussion about the challenges and opportunities in peer support
  • Space to ask questions, listen, reflect, and learn together 

FAQs

Kaleidoscope is PRN’s donor community for individuals who believe in the power of peer support and want to sustain our work through ongoing giving. Members contribute at sustaining levels and are invited into deeper connection with our mission and leadership. 

Anyone who wants to support PRN through a recurring or annual gift of $50/month ($600/year) or more is welcome to join. There are no other requirements, just a shared commitment to our peer community

Kaleidoscope members are invited into a deeper relationship with PRN through meaningful connection, engagement, and recognition. 

Members may receive: 

  • Invitations to exclusive virtual conversations with PRN’s CEO
  • Updates and insights into PRN’s work and impact
  • Opportunities to engage more deeply with our mission
  • Recognition through PRN communications, such as newsletters and donor acknowledgments 
  • Expressions of gratitude that reflect each member’s level of support 

Not at all. Participation is completely optional. Members are welcome to join when they can or simply support the work without attending. 

Conversations are held periodically throughout the year. Members will receive advance invitations and reminders with details on how to join.

You can join by making a recurring monthly gift of $50 or more, or an annual gift of $600 or more, through our donation page.

Anyone can join Kaleidoscope by making a monthly gift of any amount to Promise Resource Network. 

Yes. You can update, pause, or cancel your recurring gift at any time through our donation platform, Network for Good, or by contacting our team at fundraising@promiseresourcenetwork.org. 

Your support helps PRN provide peer-led services, operate community spaces, and respond to people navigating crisis with dignity and compassion. Sustaining gifts allow us to plan, grow, and meet needs as they arise. We invite you to explore the programs on our site to see our work in action and the impact your support makes possible. 

Yes. Promise Resource Network is a nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
