At Promise Resource Network, we offer a variety training, technical assistance, and consulting services designed to help individuals,  organizations, and communities build strong peer-support work environments and adopt recovery-focused, trauma-informed perspectives. These services provide education, tools, and practical guidance to improve practices, shift traditional mental health systems, and expand recovery-oriented care.

Peer Academy

A community-based learning experience that prepares future peer supporters to lead with authenticity, empathy, and the core values of the peer movement.

Peer Academy is grounded in authenticity, shared experience, mutual respect, and personal empowerment. We value storytelling, compassion, self-determination, and the belief that every person’s lived experience carries wisdom. Our training honors the heart of the peer movement: connection, dignity, community care, and the understanding that healing grows through relationships rooted in equality and trust.

WRAP

Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a prevention and wellness-focused process designed to help peers maintain their wellbeing, support their recovery, and manage challenges through personalized tools, strategies, and action planning.

The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) course is a 10-hour program, led by certified WRAP facilitators, that helps participants build practical skills to support personal wellness and recovery. Through guided activities, learners explore key recovery concepts, develop a personalized Wellness Toolbox, and create action plans to manage daily wellness, recognize early warning signs, and respond to challenges. The course concludes with the development of a Crisis Plan, ensuring participants leave with a comprehensive, individualized WRAP to support ongoing well-being.
